Build with the e-Invoicing API

Create and track Nigerian NRS/FIRS e-invoices from your own systems. Enable the POS integration, exchange its credentials for a token, and call the invoice endpoints over HTTPS.

What you can build

Automate invoice creation with customer information, line items, tax and totals, payment terms and document references, using the same terminology as the e-invoicing workspace.

Create and retrieve invoices from a POS or back-office system
Work with invoice records, line items and totals
Receive invoice updates at your callback URL

Core concepts

Invoice - a document with a status such as DRAFT, VALIDATED, SUBMITTED or NRS_APPROVED
POS integration - the Client ID and Client Secret you exchange for an access token
Access token - the bearer token you send on invoice requests
Errors - every response uses one envelope with a statusCode and message

Make your first request

Authenticate with your POS Client ID and Client Secret, create an invoice, then retrieve it by ID. The Quick start walks through each request against the live API; all paths start with /api/v1/.
